But to protect servers fromd aimbots/spammer/and blocker i think we should choose some admins yikes?
If its possible i would do it for one server yikes wouldnt be a problem for me

About the Upgrades for Instagib:
How about changing the spawn-time?
Either the killed Tee has to wait longer till he can spawn again, or the spawn time is decreased for every level.
For example:
a) You were killed by a level 7 Tee. You have to wait 3.5 seconds till you can spawn again, 0.5 seconds per level.
b) Every Tee has to wait maybe 5 seconds till he can spawn again. If you are level 7, you can start 3.5 seconds earlier, after 1.5 seconds.

Do u have to code every single mission (if the missions are very different)

dont understand what PvE should be. only know PvE as PlayerVSenemy, but then u need bots in the map ö.Ö   *confused*

PvE = Player versus environment

which can be used in serveral ways like you said with bot players like in Zombie mod or like static cannons which shoot like in the Mario mod sometime ago from shmafoozius .

First would be more or less the ordinary way of playing an "RPG" fighting your opponents( Bots i think since everything else would be PvP) and kill them to gain experience points for lvl up.

Second could be like a race stage with such static cannons placed on various points and you have to complete the race stage to gain an amount of experience points.

just some ideas from me ^^.

Anyways, always keep in mind, that it is a cooperative gametype which means there are at least 2 players fighting in a team.

If you got mission ideas, thena please create maps for them. smile
If they are good, i will take them, alter them so they can be used. ^^
As soon as the mod is finished, i will also release the entities.png

race-stage was my only idea i had what it could be, but it dont sounds interesting ö.Ö

Its not completely one of the 2 possibilities.

Its more like a mixture...
Like you kill a bunch of bots, then move forward through a parcour like race etc...
Ofc, if you got better iudeas, then CREATE A MAP. smile
Otherwise theyre pretty hard to describe. wink

Everything can be different at the missions smile

You are free to design them like u wish, in length and tasks aswell...
Though you maybe should split the stages into stage1.map stage2.map etc, so basicly they arent toooo long and the map isnt toooo big.
You shouldnt get the size of it above 50kb. wink

Good news:

Some info about the statting system...
There are 4 stats:
STR (strength), STA (stamina), DEX (dexterity) and INT (intelligence)

Per level up, you get 2 stat points which you are free to spend on the stats.
- STR: Affects the damage you do
- STA: Affects the damage you get and highers your HP
- DEX: Affects the speed of you shooting
- INT: Affects the ammunation you use

There will be special upgrades of which you may choose one at a certain level.
Also this upgrade comes with a specialization on a special kind of fighting.
Those upgrades will also be affected by your stats. (E.G. bigger grenade explodes, mines, slight aim accuration of rifle and way more to come).

Spending stats is already implented in the mod. Currently i still got school, so development isnt ultra fast, but it will get way better in the next few days.

I plan on having finished the whole upgrading and leveling up system for Vanilla and Instagib very very soon.

And the exp points to lvl up will come from... dmg u deal? ppl u kill? Games u win (ctf, pve, ...)? Things u do in those games (capturing a flag, getting flag back)?

Many things will affect the exp you get.

Mainly clearing PvE missions, but also killing people in other servers.
RACE and flag capturing aswell...

Also being amoung the top 3 will earn you extra EXP. wink

The special upgrades affect weapons, but not much.
Mine effect we be like: grenade doesnt explode when touching a wall. It will remain for a short time or till an enemy touches it and THEN it explodes. tongue

Hammer STA sounds a bit strong if the absorb timing is easy to get...
Hammer INT may also be a bit strong since hammer has infinte ammo.

But I like the list smile

How will INT effect ammo?
Do u have more ammo or will it slowly recharge or something else?
