Spectate sounds like the perfect solution if it even means you keep your score. As for staying in team, why? You can just rejoin it when youre back.
Too truly make things nice for the phone ringing scenario, maybe there should be a quick button too go into spectator mode though.
I´d think the best thing would be too both default it in an easy too find spot and allow for personal settings.
Oh, and I agree about the shotgun being too good. Maybe the shots should spread some more, just not as much as before.
Noticed something really wierd just now when starting too rebuild my map. The longest distance I can jump sideways is slightly longer when jumping too the left than when jumping too the right! I´d call that a bug.
Seem too get timed out quite often, wasn´t like that before.
Also, as mentioned, lag is worse than before.

When I stand by my teams flag and change team, I spawn holding the flag just a jump away from winning. Works every time, no matter which team.
(I have windows xp, was the ctf1 map, but I doubt that matters)
Only negative thing I see with this is that I´ll have too redesign my map too fit the new jumping distances

Yea, drowning would make things complicated.
Definitely an improvement from the before too the after pictures.
A tiny idea:
I noticed that most skins have the eyes always black, and a couple don´t. Pretty cool variation. It strikes me, however, that the skin on the bottom right might look better with the eyes always white rather than them adapting too the color. That could also help justify making it slightly darker, which I think it should be.
Sinking granades would be far from useless, just make sure your´e above the opponent

Oh, forgot one thing. Under GAMEPLAY: bullets originationg from weapontip rather than tee. (could dodge by getting really close)
From how I understand it it is pretty much decided how 0.3 will look like, so I´m guessing any new suggestions now will be seen as more long term. I could be wrong.
Anyway, you could add unhookable walls too the MAP headline. From the Environmental Hazards thread.

Only going to be blinking for at most 20-30 seconds before the flag is automatically returned. Probably less because someone will pick it up or return it. It should be very clear and a constant reminder of that the flag is in a volatile state.
Still think I´d prefer some other way than blinking. A flapping flag animation? A waving flag animation? The flag shining brightly?

In the second paragraph, do you mean Tag (the game about chasing eachother)? I think tag could be mare fun in a more literal way, where the one who´s "it" really has too catch someone rather than killing. Could be by hitting once with the hammer for instance. Would be no shooting and all chasing - true tag
. The one who´s it could be marked by a color and the hammer up, while all others could be completely without weapons. Coud probably be pretty fun.
I´d really like too see the possibility too colourize different skin-specific details differently. Like if you, on the bluestripes skin, could customize one colour for the stripes and one for the rest of the body. Would allow for A LOT more individualization.
guiwhise it could be made quite simple by making all skins have primary and secondary colour areas. So you´d have rulers for Primary color, secondary color and feet. Would also be cool if teams could have a combination of two colours, cause then you could play teewars olympics with the Swedish team having blue-yellow skins etc

What about asking airen for the source for his wintertiles? Those are already done, and would make it to the 0.3.0
The snow tiles are nice, but they could use some minor improvements before getting official. I´d vote no on releasing them for 0.3.0.

It's progression. It's how far into a round the game is. if someone has 15 frags and the limit is 20.. the progression is 75%. If someone has 5 frags with limit of 20, the time is 5:00 and the limit is 10:00, the progression is 50%.
Hmm, probably needs a more intuitive name then. Or a help function so you can click on the column headers and get a description of what they do. Good idea though. Just "Progression" would be way better than "%", since it would at least keep me from guessing wrong of it´s meaning.
