Topic: Looking for a Teeworlds Programmer to Semi-Clone Teerace (for Vanilla)

Hello,

TL;DR -- I want to combine race.teesites.net + tw-clanzone.com and call it Teeranks for stat tracking DM, TDM, and CTF for individual players and clans.

I have the idea to have the API token (log-in) system just like Teerace, record kill, deaths, captures, etc., for DM, TDM, and CTF modes. Of course, similar to Teerace, after an official map has been played, demo would be available for download on the website.

On top of the player having individual accounts for logging in, people would be able to form clans on the website and use that in-game as well. Basically, this would automate tw-clanzone.com and even add ELO/ranking/rating system on top of it.

This would mean recorded statistics (which I'm a specialist of) for win rates on different positions, maps, weapons, damage, HP gained, movement speed, movement speed on different parts of the map (heat map), etc. for every player and every mechanic of Teeworlds.

This project has been long abandoned since its inception, but there is a strong demand by everyone I've talked to (hello devs). Here is the abandoned link.

I currently have solutions/options/alternatives for website domains, physical server, and even web designer/programmer, but it is sorely difficult to find a programmer that can program an executable Teeworlds server file. Hopefully, this message in a bottle won't be lost.

Cheers!

Did you talk with Alucard (owner of tw-clanzone.com)?
Maybe you could integrate it there..

Yes I did when I started this project. He offered me a sub-domain then. He was enthusiastic as well, but also wasn't able to find a coder. I thought about just integrating it with Teerace as well, rather expand Teerace. However, Sushi told me the Teerace coders were unavailable, though not sure how they are now.

Perhaps in the near future, hiring coders might come into play. What kind (as in, languages + experience with the languages) of coders would I need for this?
