I mean the pistol ( the regular gun, which u spawn with ). I never thought someone might confuse theese two

Also as an addition to the first post:
Critical health is also when u have only 1 healthpoint and full armor for example ( 11 hitpoints ) since when receiving more than 1 damage one health point is decreased and the rest decreases the armor, so with 1 healthpoint and 10 armor u will die from anything which deals more than 1 damage.

TERMS:
boost - using the rocket launcher to gain extra speed, or to jump very high - also known as rocketjumping
mirror/corner shot - performing a shot with the laser, such that the laser first hits a wall and then bounces hitting the enemy. Very effective since a lot of players are unaware of the lasers hitting distance and feel safe behind obstacles, walls, w/e
pass - When u have the enemy flag and kill urself in order to let some of your teammates take the flag. ( becasue he may be better defender, w/e ... ). Performing a pass can be considered rude when u hook a teammate not wanting to take the flag and kill urself while being close to him, so he automatically takes the flag.
pointing - explained at the tactics

TACTICS: ( most apply to CTF ( and the map ctf2 ) )
blocking - camping and rocket/pistol spamming a location u know your enemy has to pass by in order to escape ( with a flag ). Blocking is very effective when performed correctly since the blocked player ( most of the times the flagger ) just _cannot_ pass that way, so he has to choose another way if possible.
pointing - pointing means to pistol spam @ some resources, mostly used to draw the attention of teammates. Pointing at a shotgun means - hey you are allowed to take that shotgun - to your teammates.
movement patterns - these apply not only for ctf. Its quite hard to explain a movement pattern. It means when u have to get from location A to B U always choose the same path, perform the same moves, pick up the same items, etc etc. Movement patterns can e both good and bad for you. Using optimized mov. patterns you can get very fast from one point to another, using them too much makes ur gameplay predictable, which makes u extremely easy to kill.

MISC:
photo - at an enf of a CTF game all players standing near the (winning teams) flag are 'on the photo'. A totally useless term, just for fun.
mega pistol - shooting the pistol extremely fast. a not widely known technique exists ( not a cheat, not a combo ) to perform this 'trick' so if u know how to do it, just plz keep the secret. It has already leaked out since alot of people are aware of it.

In my opinion just KISS. Unfrienly players ? Lol who cares, just tell them to gtfo. Just ignore them, dont let them ruin your gameplay. Paying attention to them is the first wrong step. All that registration stuff seems like an overkill for me, and would bring a couple of problems related to the implementation. IMHO.

We have a working forum ? Well even if we have i dont know the adress, but i has an idea. Lets misuse that stuff called pastebin, to let us communicate. Just edit the post, or write a new one. Fcorse we cant talk about our secrets there as it is quite public now that i posted the link here, but its better than nothing. Keep up and sry for offtopic.

I havent told anybody about this neat trick but i remember once in fp8 serv we were playing and somebody asked how could we shoot that fast the pistol and someone ( from police, i dont remember ( certainly not me !!!) ) told it. Also i think theres no need to advertise our 'secrets' more. Btw since my accident i too have problems with mai finger and I shoot like that all the time, not only with pistol Also where the fuck are U ?

Great idea, but i dont think lot of people will use it, since some of them have problems at setting up their own server and segfaults are quite bad. thx for your effforts

I dont think u could manage to use the shield effectively with such parameters. It would be like trying to hit the laser approaching u, with ur own. ( 0.3 sec + aiming in the direction where the laser comes from ) I know lotta people are having such problems with the laser rifle, so im not against the idea ( having something against laser ).

Well the jail mod is quite different from that, but thanks for mentioning it anyways.
