You need a background (a Tiles one), which you put before the Game layer.

It's a client-side "fix", making a duck yellow background. Definitely not an option for a decent map.

Re: [MAP] Quad problem? [solved]

Hello

as Dune said you need to add some background. On the left side of your editor you see all the used "layers" - the further up on the list, the farther it is in the game. So your background should be right on top.
Now you can add a new Quad layers in group #0 (rightclick it and set order to "0") and then look on the right side of your editor panel and click "Add Quad". There will be a little rectangle, you can grab and drag the red corners to choose the necessary size (according to your map area) and by rightclicking the corners you can change the colours (at every corner modify the values R, G and B, not A).
Hope you can follow my little guide.
By showing the Grid (top left buttons) you can adjust your size precisely.
