In the Catching mod you can catch other players.

The aim is, to get all player's in your Team. The Winner will be the Team with all players, and the one with the most catched Tee's.

Simply hammer your opponent, to get him in your Team.

There is one additional setting:
Config | Default | Range | Description
sv_deathtiles_change_team | 0 | 0 / 1 | If this option is enabled, each player who dies by death tiles, will change the Team.

Commands (Invalid):
add_dummy <num> | 1 - 16 | Add dummies by <num> (Only Test Dummies) (Server will crash, if a player join on active dummies)

Client Commands:
/pn <name> <message> Write a message to a player <name> (Search for the name)

about /pn:

Many players use clan tags:

e.g.:

[CLAN] Player 1
[CLAN] Player two
[CLAN] player 4


...

Many people say it, many people have no idea... My mod is inspired by Zombie VS Vampire for Teeworlds 0.4.x (look at the credits). Infection mod is law, only the blue team can infect.

Heres my critic:

-The mod is not playable until 4 players. the rounds will end to fast.
-Perfect map for it is CTF5 if there are 12 or more player!!

Otherwise its really funny to play it tongue

But I had an idea about this mod... how about, when everyone spawns they all have there own colors for up to 16 players?:
1: White
2: Pink
3: Red
4: Orange
5: Light Orange
6: Yellow
7: Light Yellow
8: Green
9: Light Green
10: Aqua
11: Blue
12: Light blue
13: Purple
14: Light Purple
15: Black
16: Gray
** Edit, Also let's say I was the light green colored team, then at the very end, once everyone has changed to the same color, and the ending color was light green; then it should say: "|X-treme|Bee's team wins!"**

Very nice Idea !
But i think its not that easy, to change the colors without client mod.

It shouldnt be THAT hard.

Just add a variable to the Player class "catching_team" and let it have the values 0 to 15.
Use a non-team gamemode and define an int-array catching_colors[16] with the different color values.

When people join/round starts, set catching_team to the client_id of the players as they have the same conditions as the catching_team variable has to have.

If someone it hit simply modify the catching_team variable, change the color value to catching_colors[catching_team]. wink

I'd even say this mod should be a new official game-type for an upcoming teeworlds version; it seems good, simple and original, quality's I think are the ingredients for an official game-type. o_o

why should it be an official gametype, if it isnt played by many ppl?
i will test it if i have time^^ but it sounds like a 1hour-fun mod

Yes I know, but I boy can dream right? And besides if enough people agree then the matricks and teetow might look into it.
Isn't vanillas "pure" CTF/TMD/DM? If that's so, then by making it an official game-type, it's now a vanilla.

There are currently no finished plans to include any mod into the next Teeworlds release, but the developers are always looking into community created content to see whether or not it could be implemented.

Or at least an option for it (sv_nameplates 1/0)
