Topic: TeeWorlds 0.6.3: On starting, screen goes black and PC crashes.

OS: Windows 7 Home Basic
Service Pack 1
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2450M CPU @ 2.50 GHz 2.50GHz
Installed Memory (RAM): 4.00 GB
System type: 64-bit Operating System
Graphical Processing Unit: Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000
DirectX Version: 10.1

As soon as I start the application, the screen goes black. I can't access the desktop or the task manager with either of ways (Ctrl+Alt+Del OR Ctrl+Shift+Esc). The PC crashes and the only way out is restart. sad

Re: TeeWorlds 0.6.3: On starting, screen goes black and PC crashes.

Could you try 0.6.2?
Edit: Actually, try 32bit version instead: 0.6.2
Is SDL.dll and freetype.dll in the folder of `teeworlds.exe`?

Are other games running fine?
It might be an issue with your graphics driver. Reinstalling might solve it.

I had a problem with teeworlds too but after I deleted some new
installed programs and reinstalled Teeworlds it worked fine.
Try thinking of things you were editing/downloading at the time teeworlds stopped working.
I am no computer expert but it worked for me!

I don't project my insecurities on other people.

Re: TeeWorlds 0.6.3: On starting, screen goes black and PC crashes.

Have you tried Ctrl+Shift+Q?
This is the teeworlds 'quit' shortcut.

A is for Apple.

Re: TeeWorlds 0.6.3: On starting, screen goes black and PC crashes.

I have tried all the stuff....In the end, it worked when I started using DDnet Client neutral

P.S: The other games are running absolutely fine...but the problem is not solved.
