Topic: Server records demo file -> clients stream that demo file

Sometimes, the servers get full. How about seeding the demo file to a third party server so that that third party server can just stream it out? Then, the ones that want to spectate can just click on "spectate" button on the server list beside instead of "connect" button and stream from that third party server through the client.

Feature request, feature request to other client coders, food for thought, etc.--it's just an idea.

This won't work client-side right now, because the server only sends what you can see in spectator mode.

Every movement players make go through the server. I'm not exactly sure how the server command "record" works, but how far is that from this idea?

The server indeed records everything on the map when told to do so.
