Topic: [MWG] dm_rainy

Hello, and yes, I have yet another map to show you. As said in the title it's named dm_rainy, and its for DM,TDM,IDM,ITDM,GDM,GTDM, and JUGGERNAUT. I modeled it after dm1, even though it is in the jungle, and its raining.
This map is good for 5 or less players, and it uses one of kintaro's backgrounds. (All thanks goes to him for the background.) On with the screenshots and download links.

P.S: I used a blue transparent upside down cloud for water ^^

Update 1: More objects to make spamming less safe.

Update 2: High Detail supported: Doodads and lightning are off when not using high detail.

Oh yeah sorry.. I forgot it was Kintaro's AND Delo's background thread.. I apoligize for that mistake.

Yeah it looks nice but has the same disease as the desert themed map, I think dm6. SLOW GAMEPLAY

Thanks for the kind words.. I was thinking it would be remade for 7.0 if it was good enough anyway...
Wait. Do you mean delo's background or the placing of my everything else? If so, how do you mean good gameplay?

Sincerely, there is too much of dm1 here. I find this map too common. We've already seen this, so i have no idea why should we implement this into the game.

The map looks pretty nice..had a short test on it and the gameplay is fine as well!

We've already seen this? But not with deathtiles, unhookables, and different graphics. Besides, you guys were saying dm1 needs a redo. (Even though I think dm1 is better than my map.)

@Delo: thanks, I think what makes it so good is your background.
The gameplay isn't good enough for me, and maybe some ctf5 fans, so what do you think I would do or should do there?

My map needs a diffrent feel than the official maps.. but I guess achieving originality is a good thing big_smile

Less boxiness, less huge open space and tiny cramped space, every weapon platform and spawn should have a purpose in the game flow. Just for starters. Good for an early attempt though no lie.

Please remove the thunder and doodads from high details.

I have done so now. If I had made this map after I figured out how to use high detail, I wouldn't have needed this update.
