The brownish-red tint looks nice, but why do the sun's eyes have to be circles instead of stretched ellipses? And I'd avoid bloom/glow effects...

Because i don't like the small eyes of the sun so i ever change it. ^^
And bringing a circle without glow effects to the map, it will grow too high, so i just use the moon for the "eye circle".

Well, I'd suggest you to keep the sun's eyes more 'teeish'. I dunno how put this, but... for some players, like me, know that keeping the 'Teeworlds-standard' style of a map is important. So personally, I don't like the sun's glow effect and eyes.

Why not try a sun that keeps those standards? If so, I'd personally like that more.

the rest is nice. keep the color but make the sun more "teeish" and all will be ok :]
