There are nice account systems hing MySQL on GitHub. Just search for a while, you may habe to adapt some things.

I just did a file-based account system (with small API) for KoG. Its not that hard to write it by yourself, but i think u're unable to do it by yourself..

But xush isnt wrong, easiest way would be to use some MySQL system like the DDNet one.
