Original Thread: Click me hard!
Hey guys,

today I made a little client. With it you can have a second tee on your current server.
Useful for a two-players ddracemap that you will pass alone or do not start thousand clients to test your mods.

Functions:

  • dummy_connect: connect dummy to current server

  • dummy_disconnect: disconnect dummy from current server

  • dummy_toggleid: switch between control first or second player

  • dummy_toggleboth: switch between control just one or both player

Of course you can't flood with this client. There is just a little protection, that accepts to use the function dummy_connect just all 5 seconds after using it again.

On 0.6.2 yes, but there are a lot of not fixed servers in 0.6.x

How do you connect a new dummy to a server? I'm missing something here. Please explain step-by-step.

@ddjager: Try to enter in the console this here: dummy_connect - other commands are listed in first post
@Robyn: start the teeworlds.exe?

Damn! That's great thing, which was mentions in dreams of each player, and now we can enjoy it! Really great!
The second damn is about open source: this is the first client mod, that I'd like to develop, but I totally agree, that you should not share the sources hmm

Thats why we can connect a dummy, right?

I just wanted to say that 2 Dummys are useless because most Server just allows 2 Connections at the same time.

I'd prefer OpenSource anyway.
There are already many mods and so on that 'died' because of ClosedSource.
