You can't just add the numbers per value.
0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 A B C D E F 10 11 12 13...
-> Your age = 0x11 (0x is just the identifier for hexdezimal numbers)

F2 = (16 * 15) + (1 * 2) = 242
11 = (16 * 1) + (1 * 1) = 17
