Topic: Try Teeworlds in your iPhone/iPad for free now!!!

Good news! Teeworlds is available on App Store now! Try it for free on your iPhone/iPad now!
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/teestor … 1&mt=8
It takes me a lot of time to make it run in iOS and publishes it to the app store. I hope all of you can try it and leave good comments and suggestion smile

Credits:
I'll add credits in the next release. Please tell me what kind of things I need to add.
Now things in my mind are
  1- Credits Magnus Auvinen.
2 - Give the office link and the license link(https://github.com/teeworlds/teeworlds/blob/master/license.txt).
3- Mention @pelya 's great job since I learn something from his android version.
I'm not an English speaker so I may misunderstand something here, I don't want to get the law troubles. Please tell me if I miss anything important.

Next plan:
MFi controller support.  The touch screen control is hard to play right now.
Add bots to the local server so you can play it alone. But I don't have detail ideas in my mind now.
Do give me some suggestions please!

Please leaves your comments below and If you love the iOS version, please share!!!

That's great work!
Just tested it on ipad mini, it's awesome!
Ofc, touch controls sux, MFi controllers should solve this problem.

Could you please also publish code sources? I think we are all interested in how did you succeded to build teeworlds for iOS.

I remember I spent about a week trying to build ios version, but failed due to non-complete SDL2 support. Now i'm happy to see that finally somebody did it!

Re: Try Teeworlds in your iPhone/iPad for free now!!!

Bots will be a problem - since many players are using aimbots to cheat in TeeWorlds, devs who created bots do not give sources to anyone, so their work won't be turned into a cheat client.

Of course you can download cheat clients from multiple sites, along with a virus or two.

The bot sources for Android version were given to me privately in this thread, and the dev asked me not to distribute them: https://www.teeworlds.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=11397

Try asking him too.

Tell me if you have any ideas how to make touchscreen controls not suck.

I gave up on touchscreen controls and now I am porting Ninslash instead, because Ninslash does not have ninjarope, one less button on screen makes a huge difference for gameplay.

The code for server-side bots is quite different than client-side, anyway. It shouldn't really matter, there are open-source ZOMB mods and such.

Not Luck, Just Magic.

Thank you for your reply @pelya . Now I just learn your job on the touchscreen controls and it's a good begin. I  have no  ideas about how to improve it now. Thank you for your great job! I'll try to add bots and thank you for your link.

Re: Try Teeworlds in your iPhone/iPad for free now!!!

I legit can’t move, at all using iPhone 6 and also tried multiple settings, a friend told me with accelerometer +one joystick settings you move by tilting this doesn’t work for me aswell as the joysticks at all are doing nothing

The best I can do if I use the two joystick method is aim by tapping on the screen which also fires and hook
