Topic: Pixelated skins

Hi everyone! I'm trying to make new skins, but some of them appear really pixelated.
I'm editting them with Photoshop, and saving it as a .png,
they look nice when i'm editting it, but when i load them onto the game, they became quite pixelated.
How could i solve it?
Is maybe for the size of the skins because is beeing scaled?, the size i made them is 256 x 128 which seems to be ok because both are powers of 2.

Thank you very  much!

PD. I've been looking other posts, but have not get this answer, if there is another post, am sorry, just redirect me to it please.

I had this problem around the edges if thats what you mean, when making skins in Photoshop. I switched to a vector based program, save as a png, and there is no more pixelation. Most people use Inkskape because it's free to download. But if you already own Illustrator you can use that as well.
