This will be a quite long post ... I just need to get something said I had on my mind recently.
I think every user reading the posts on city mods in this forum will get a fully wrong idea of what city is and how it works. It's not that boring map you're going to to explore parts of it you've not known yet (most city maps aren't that big you can go in to explore everyday). City mods mainly bring a bit of real life and RPG into Teeworlds. They keep the main idea of Teeworlds, but add features like money or police hunts. They don't want to fully change the main points of Teeworlds, they wan't to bring it nearer to players who want to have a bit alternation.
I hate people running down mods. I'm sure every modder puts lots, lots of time into his mod, and even that should be enough to respect his/her work (excluding completely bad mods only made to annoy). If you don't like the mod, don't play it, but don't run it down as badly as some players on this forum do.
Furthermore it's not like this: Code the mod, compile it, run the server and done. It's not only about having the mod, it's about running it. There's a lot of work put into there to make sure the cities run well and free of lag. The admins need to get some mods or polices or whatever to keep the city friendly, too.
Last but not least my answer to the question "Where can I download a city mod?":
Most city mods are private and will never be published. If you want to have the mod, don't hope to get it. Don't spam the modder. Don't flood the admins. Look for some tutorials on how to mod Teeworlds, go and learn C/C++ and start modding one yourself.

Only cs 60% of tw players hate city,
city shouldnt be called crap!
There are still 40% who do like citys...
A game isnt only running around and shooting like an idiot,
callimg others noobs, block, or looping ure weapon...
Its also about friendly teamplay....
Mostly times when i play city,
i just have fun chatting in the game while earning money...
Actually u feel near them like accepted from the beginning..
Not like in most other mods where most players are agressive fat players
who kickvote u when u do enter only and/or call u noob,ass, say shut up , moron

I think we should all respect that people have different opinions and that they won't change, no matter how many holywars there are. And insulting other people for their opinions is not a good strategy either.
