Topic: License of the graphics?

i would like to create a little homepage about my tw server and would like to use the teeworlds tiles as graphics. can i do that or will i get problems with the license?

Re: License of the graphics?

I'm fairly sure that all of Teeworlds' material can be used else where, if given credit, since Teeworlds is an open source. But, officaly, I'm not sure. hmm

Give others the respect you wish to be respected with. In the mean time, enjoy the website!

Re: License of the graphics?

As stated here, you can use them anywhere you want, credits would be nice, but aren't necessary. But you mustn't claim that you made those graphics.

Re: License of the graphics?

i will for sure give credits for the great work! thank you for your answers!

Being an open source, there are still various levels of licensing.  We have the general public license and a lot more.  There are various jurisdictions appended to it depending on what is applicable.  But even coming from a open source, you can still repackage what you did as proprietary though citations will still be needed. I am not quite sure though what is applicable here.

We've a license which says it pretty clear:
