After a long developement time the work is done.
The new version of the inQontroL Modification is here right now.
The mod is based on the newest 0.6 Trunk source and is autoupdating via github.
There are no (known) Bugs or compiler Warnings and some new nice features.

sv_example = X1, X2, X3 // X1 = standard value, X2 = min. value, X3 = max. value

Aviable gametypes:
Normal vanilla like ctf, tdm, dm without any inQ features
Normal instagib like ictf, itdm, idm without any inQ features
inQ vanilla like ctf*, tdm*, dm* with inQ features
inQ instagib like ictf*, itdm*, idm* with inQ features

Maybe you don't like it but many other people do wink
Many Servers run the old buggy inQ Mod.

And you can also choose normal Instagib you don't have to use the inQ Mod.
And you can deactivate the Features you don't want.

The only new thing is the xonx and some other nice features but it's in Trunk and much better coded then the old mod.

Some problems with "go". "stop" is working but "go" do nothing.

You need to remove the equal symbols from your config.

I like ur mod and i thought about it xP

I thought an option for vanilla would be fine.
Its a little bit complex... big_smile
So I'll try to explain it.

e.g.

a map (let's say ctf4) is made for a 2vs2.
I mean the weapons, shield and heart amount.
so they are -  let's say - 18 shields and 20 hearts.  (Just fictional) [(I'm excluding weapons - for easy understanding)]
Now we divide 18 through 4 'coz we've got a 4 players criterion atm.
(18:4 = 4,5)
Same with hearts
(20:4 = 5).
So the best allocatin is 5 hearts per Player and 4,5 (~5) Shields per player.

But if u now want to play a 3v3 the weapons and shields are not enough.
So the best would be 30 hearts and ~30 shields. [(3+3)*5]
If you now could an command which lets hearts and shields appear / dissapear in case of more / few players it would be greate.
So the amount of shields would be:
x = coefficient of shields and standart players
Shields = Active Players * X.

Same with hearts.

If you now know a standart eqiupment with hearts and shields / weapons on a map you can calculate how many shields / hearts you need to make the map playable for all players, so they dont run out of hearts ;-)

Every new map could be called in its name with the optimal PlayerVsPlayer - Mod (2v2) and so you are able to calculate it for every map.
If you once did it you can add 100 shields in your map and in fact of how many players are active you could only be 50 be available for example.

I know its quit complicated and maybe crappy but i wanted to release this idear xD

Theolol: it's not just a matter of pickups, but also about the size of the map.
Set a limited number of players on your map, so that they get played for what they've been designed (e.g ctf2=4n4, ctf1=2n2 etc). It's a really bad idea to try to put more players than what a map can allow, and changing the number of pickups does not solve the problem at all.

Yes of course, you'r right. ;-) I said it was just a crazy thougth wink
But u can add a playerlimit for map which creates out of mapsize xDD
(Distance between flags for example)

Ur right, u can just make a playerlimit, but if u play at a 4o4 map, and there are too much hearts its sucks too ;-)
So u can use this function to increase and decrease the hearts and shields smile

is it real to make ban for many ips at the time ?
example:
1 wanna ban 192.168.1.0-192.168.1.255
is it real ti make ban 192.168.1.* to ban all this ips.
i can write function but i don't have source sad

Stop asking in multiple unrelated topics the same question.
To your question: I've heard it's possible to do it on the trunk servers.

I'm sorry that my complaint comes so late (or if I had to create a new topic for this) , but I found this mod not until today...

On my computer, the _srv doesn't work. The problems are: The console windows closes itself after less than one second... A new download couldn't fix this problem...

Does anyone know how to fix it?

Try to open a cmd window and then start the teeworlds server in it. You should see the error. Or you create a .bat file with this content:

@echo off
teeworlds_srv.exe
pause >nul

Put it in the same folder where your teeworlds_srv.exe is and you should see the error.

How do you install only instaGIB?
I downloaded de srv file and paste it into the normal teeworlds folder but it doesnt do anything?
