Hi guys,
I am making a new race map like hotrun (but shorter) and as I see that race community is really big now (there are even race clans !), I want to start a race contest.
It would be similar to the raceATHON on Warsow (http://www.warsow.net/?page=news&id=129)
For a first time, it would be less complex, for example :
I release the map day X, then you have till day Y do send me your demo (email).
About the length, I think one week could be a good start. It is a bit long but it would let a majority of players to play it and send their demo.
Summary :
- one map (I would be the only one to see it, so I won't participate) with a specific .cfg
- 1 week to send your demo
- for winners : maybe a video which shows the three best demos
- some servers would be needed to host it, but you would still be able to record your demo from a local server with the good .cfg
Well, tell me what you think and maybe this contest will happen 
ppl trying to do the best time when it really matters. Proper execution would even kill any kind of boredom. Could even be like the 0.3 races, where ppl race at the same time lol. Aah, my wet TeeTV dreams!
