Topic: Some people can't find my server.

I have set up a running server which I and so far two other people can find and enter. However one of my friends, cannot find this server on the list sad
I have my firewall turned off etc. the friend of mine has no filters on, and can't find it whether he searches the server's name or not. He's running 0.4.3  (same as me) and I think he can access any other server. Any Ideas?

I think only filters can be reason of this problem. Your friend may has got bad ping and filter block of view it.
BTW: You say your friends hasnt  got any filters on - you must activate the gametypoe filter - tick DM, TDM or CTF filter!

nah nah big_smile  he lives close to me so ping would be under 20. plus his ping filter is at 999. DM TDM and CTF is all ticked. This is pissing the crap out of me cause were from Australia and barely any servers have good ping for us.

Maybe he can't reach the master server that the server is registered on. What happends if he connects to the ip directly?

Um,I'm not quite sure. isn't my server registered on the same master server as everyone else? He can see other servers with no problem. I'll try direct IP next. Thanks for helping and I will test this out as soon as i next see him.

There are several master servers to make sure Teeworlds wont go down just because of an isp fail or something like that. I'm really unsure what the problem is, but please try direct íp.
