Topic: rcon status?

I am hoping to open Teewars ladders/cups/etc at ESL (www.esl.eu) in the new year

Something that would be *very* useful to counter fake matches is an 'rcon status' feature like in CS to see the IPs of connected players

Will you consider it?

Re: rcon status?

A problem with ladders is players who think it's fun to create multiple account and play games with each other, or have their friends play for them, or in team games use banned players, et cetera

Of course we have the logs from them using the website, but for the latter two situations the only way to see who played a match is a screenshot showing IP addresses on the server

This is normal in most FPS games

Re: rcon status?

if you pass "sv_status=1" via rcon to the server in 0.3.1 it will output this.

[4768598b][server]: -- status --
[4768598b][server]: id=0 addr=192.168.0.11:35537 name='matricks' score=0
[4768598b][server]: -- end status --

Re: rcon status?

Hm, had a quick test, how exactly do I get rcon to work?

I have made a server with an rcon password set, but can't see where I should 'login' with the password
