Here I almost always find publications with advertising content and things that are not related to the game
I suspect they are viruses or something ...
Does anyone know what is going on?

This has been going on for years, spam gets removed at least daily, unfortunately sometimes we don't catch it before you do.
There were several attempts to filter out bots, to set up questions for bots etc., but they are real humans so there is not much we can do
What about using the master servers as anti bot? We could check if the ip who try’s to register an account requested the serverlist. If not the signup page will tell the user to start teeworlds. So we at least we filter the humans that are not willing to start the client.
It could even turn them into teeworlds players
That would probably work yeah.
Sounds like some non-trivial work and coordination effort though
