Topic: High ping in Teeworlds

Hey, so i've been running in to a lot of ping issues on teeworlds for w/e reason.

I'm running games like Counter Strike on 10 ping & League of Legends on 20 ping, But teeworlds sets my ping at about 100-150. It's not a server distance issue because one of my mates who live like 2km away from me has 30 ping on the same servers, while his ingame ping in League & CS is way higher.

Would love get some support or information why, thanks.

Hey, could you please give us some more Information about your Setup ?
Like Operating System, and so on..
Do you have this ping on every server ?
Are you using the "Offical Teeworlds Client" ?

Could you open a command prompt or terminal and type 'ping google.com', and tell us what it says? in Windows command prompt, right click title bar, 'edit'->'mark', select text to copy, once you've selected text, hit Enter to copy it

I'm running Windows 7, not sure what other information you're looking for. I've got relatively good ping on a few servers, and when playing from a different computer (same internet) i'm running on lower ping. I'm using the steam client, though there's no difference from using 'regular' teeworlds.

Ping statistics for 216.58.209.110:
    Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0%
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
    Minimum = 5ms, Maximum = 5ms, Average = 5ms

As i mentioned earlier my ping is fine on other games & my friends are running on way lower ping in only teeworlds, so i'm relatively confident it's an issue with my PC.

use  ddnet clinet    to have beter  ping and make sure  your net speed cable is fixed or not
test  and find  best vps ip range for your self
