Topic: Switching weapons

Currently weaponswitch commands don't register during fire/reload times. E.g. when you just shot a grenade and want to follow it up with a buckshot, you have to wait until the the grenade launcher has reloaded and then press the shotgun button. This makes it unnecessarily hard to perform weapon combos, and even sabotages some crucial situations (e.g. when you just ran out of ammo and want to switch weapons). You should be able to press a weaponswitch during reload and then have the game switch to that weapon after the reload sequence is finished.

On another note, it would be nice to have the "no ammo" click sound come up when you switch to a weapon you dont have ammo for. Of course this prevents some mistakes a player might make and thus maybe lessens the game's depth, so that's a design choice you devs have to make.

I concur. Also, automatic weapon switch if you run out of ammo on your current weapon would be nice.

Automatic weaponswitch takes some of the skills away. However, a last-used-weapon-key maybe would be ok...

I don't know if this is possible yet, haven't found anything in the settings, but scroll button weapon switching would be a really nice addition.
