So, I tried to make a competitive ctf map like ctf2. It still needs some testing, some real ctf games. It has been designed by a ctf player for ctf players smile

Thank amn who pushed me to make this map. Thank Magnet, Stephanator, 0³7 and all the players who helped me.
The map isn't finished. I need your help to make it prettier. As I suck in that domain, I am searching someone who could make cool graphics for this map (tiles, quad, animations, new tiles, background...). If the players like it, it will be the official map. You can do whatever you want, you don't have to include lava if you don't want to. [I personally would like a lava/vulcano map like this : 1, 2]

i will re-do the lava a bit (bubbels, more red, diffrent colors)

just a hint: don't use gradients 0³7

Please provide some screenshots next time. I do not like it, as it does not have the vulcano feeling.

I'm working at some lava effects at present, but i don't have that much time and it needs some brainwork to do before.

to reanimate this thread, here a better lava, the colouranimation chages from red to orange now, it moves slower and a small other bug is fixed too smile :

Hum not bad, but the gardient isn't so good and i think it is not teeish style smile.

as promised, i'm working on it, but it takes time, as lava without a gradient looks much more teeish but needs much more time, too. Here is a preview of  my lava.

Update : ctf_lava BETA 2

As funwar league might use this map, I feel that I have to update it. So I added the awesome graphics and effects that Landil made for this map. I reworked the map, so the movements should be smoother.

I still have some modifications to do, I expect there will be a third beta. Please send me your comments.

yea and also instagib...  or maybe some ctf2 player dont like the map because of the death tiles... who knows
