Hey,

I was looking the forum as a guest and then I realized that guests can, actually, 'up- or downvote' posts on the forum...

Well, maybe you (staff) shouldn't let this... I think it'll be good if you deny this permission on configs... 'Cause if they want to participate, then they must register wink

Apparently a guest just gave you a -1 tongue Anyway, yes I noticed this too. I think it should indeed be disabled, because there can easily be spammed now.

This may be the reason for some VERY strange -1 votes... this really has to be fixed.

I think the main problem is that people don't vote for the quality of a message, but for as much it reflects their own personal opinion. It is a very easy way to make a discussion turn out to reflect your opinion by hiding all other opinions.

Maybe it would a solution to set an extra requirements besides registering to allow the down or upvoting of posts.
