Topic: Making a Server

Yes, I know there are guides to doing so, my problem is Port Forwarding, I am using a Linksys WRT54GS.
I get to this part. For some reason my ip is 192.173.1.1 instead of 192.168.1.1 like it says in the guide... Please help!!!

did you open you local software firewall as well?
The screenshot looks okay - it does not matter if your router's ip is 192.173.1.1 or 192.168.0.1

I opened port 8300-8303, cause I saw that teeworlds_srv wanted to use 'em as well.

Don't you see the red shield with an X in the bottom right corner? Yes, my local firewall is off. And thanks it worked when I changed to open ports 8300 to 8303. Thanks, Landil!

Also, how do I change map mid game?

you can use the rcon (press f2) and type "sv_map = mapname"

offtopic: if i were you, i would only open the ports in the firewall, not deactivate the complete firewall smile

the sv_map = mapname doesnt work. I get a failed to load map error.

yes.

If my memory doesn't fail me (no degrading comments on that!) the sv_whatever is just whatever in rcon these days.

Used to be very active waay back

actually its sv_map mapname not = sign in between, at least it worked for me....
