Topic: Too less normal SERVERS

Dear community
i want to recommend that there should be less ctf instantgib servers
instantgib is a funny and good mod and i love to play it but when there are only 2 good normal ctf 2 servers the fun ends  because i don´t have any good alternative to it. i must play this mod in ctf and i don´t want to cause its a bit overdone thers is no variety anymore.

nah.. 2-3 CTF2 standard servers are needed, as the others are sometimes full =/

I converted our (mostly) unused DM server in classical CTF.
It runs on ctf1 and ctf2, score limit is 310 and the only mod is the killing spree messages.
Look for the HuH CTF server

Indeed 99% instagib right now.
The servers seem to be there, problem seems to be that most players seem to prefer instagib mode. for whatever reason. also I fguess this is contagious, noobs never get used to playing with the normal weapons and when getting better, they're avoiding normal servers.

The only good thing is that IF you find a "normal" ctf, you're guaranteed to have good players in the game.

I really like playing the instagib mod, but indeed, there should be an alternative.. after some hours of instagib, it's always nice to play a normal game smile

btw, slomo servers are the most funniest thing i've encountered, i joined one once and i was nearly laughing myself to death xD

I think most people love modded server but all modded servers are different ... some are really "stupid" modded.. and some... i dont notice that the server is modded because there are only very small changes wink

btw: slomo servers xDDD ^^ my brother has done something like that.. "matrix" or something like that  is the name of the server..

We just need that mod filter, pherhaps making modded servers invisible per default. If it is more clear which server run the original game my guess is that new players will gravitate more towards those.

Yeah, default modded servers should not be visible in the serverbrowser.

I like Instagib, but of corse there are to much server.
For example i shared my new_pirates map with community to see a lot of servers with it wink
The map was hostet on 5 different servers, but everyone host it on instagib, why nobody host it normal i thought, so I had NEVER played my map, since today on normal mode. So I ask u server hosters, why are there so much insta servers?
whats with the classic style of teewars? Did it get lost with the progress?
