Topic: [Request] Need server for a map

Hi there,

as some of you already noticed, me and Lappi are working on a CTF-map. It uses a lot of graphics and animations and so the map itself has ~1MB. We don't own a server and our bandwidth is not as high as a 1MB map would need. Therefore we need someone to host it. We are not sure 'bout the optimal amount of players, but we think about 10 on each side.

The map has alpha status and still needs balancing and testing.

I'm looking forward to playing this with you guys out there. There's a lot of time we've spent on this project.

Of course - the server admin will be playing with and support us in the beta phase smile

(we would need sb with a homing modded server, don't we, Landil?)

i can host your map..(1 gbit) connection.. but 10 players on each side.. o.O i have tested teeworlds with 24 players.. (self compiled server) it works.. but when 12 players are playing..and a 13 want to join. server crashes.. so only 12 are possible.. at the moment.. sad

A max of 12 players? Uhhh that's not fine.

@lappi: Yes, you're right, we need a homing mod server, because of the unhookable and teleport tiles.

homing mod server no problem.. i have everything big_smile  .. i think you know my flyrace servers.. they all are using homing mod wink;)

1. a server config file.. include rcon pw and other settings..

@caribou: you know you can send e-mails to people by clicking their names and then click "send e-mail", right?

1gb ram
cureently hosting:

dual core amd operton 2x @ 2,21 GHz

1 gb ram wink
1 gb connection
server place: Karlsruhe - Germany

wtf? .. ping on my server is ok..
i have seen these pings on my servers :

from germany:                ~ 18 ms - ...
from france:                 ~ 50 ms - ...
from uk:                     ~ 60 ms - ...
from Norway/Sweden/Finland:  ~ 70 ms - ...
from russia:                 ~ 90 ms - ...
from us:                     ~ 100 ms - ...

i was kidding

well, for me, europe pings are not ok 0( i got at least 160 sad

but with mine, i got from 80 to 100... fair enough... in my other game (RO server) i got from 40 to 60... weird

@xN its true.. there are some very small laggs.. i have to look after..
@netomx .. the same by me.. when i join your server i get a ping of 160..its fair or not?

@netomxoh ok.. than its normal that you get a ping of 160 ... its a long distance.. from Mexicoto Germany..
