Topic: [MOD] Mapper (Teeworlds Map Editor for Android)

Hi! i would like separate from H-Client stuff this modification and for this reason i created this new topic.

⚫·· What is this?
Mapper it's a modification that allow full interaction with Teeworlds Map Editor (Android APP). With this server you can create parties for map makers and edit maps collaborative.

⚫·· Can connect any client?
NO. To connect at this server you need use a modified client... you can use "H-Client" or other any client that has integrated net messages for work with the server (you can get more information about this in the wordpress blog).

⚫·· I can create my own server modification and integrate it with Android APP?

⚫·· I can integrate my own client with the 'mapper' server?

I updated the Android APP, now can test it without connect to a server (only load a example map), forced 1280x800 resolution and other stuff...

I really really like it, too bad I don't own any android devices.

I wanted to test it out, became pretty curious.  big_smile
For my Android device (Samsung Galaxy S3 (I-9300)) it works like a charm. But as I join with the latest H-Clients, I get the error code "invalid standard map" and the srv.exe bans me for 1 minute for the reason 'network stressing'. I tried replacing the Roaming ... \maps folder with the one in the H-Clients, which also once is my folder where the srv.exe starts.
Tried everything. I guess It's just not ment to be used by me neutral

Hi MuffinMario!, you can't use standard maps with this mod sad ... you need rename standard maps (ctfX, dmX, ..).
For example, if you like use "ctf5" you need go to maps/ folder, create a copy and rename it to for example "ctf5_mapper".

- Added: Layers deletion
- Added: Images selection (external & embedded)
- Fix: bugs with render
- Changed: Now the app works in 'eager' mode (Slow to start.. very fast to use)

- Doesnt work with Bluestack on PC. There is only a black window.

- Doesnt work with Android 4.4.2 on THL5000.
I cant enter text - which means that I get stuck already at "New Connection". The standard-keyboard locks up when it opens.

I will be banned if I troll again ...

For fist issue i don't know why shows a black "dialog"... i need learn about Bluestack works with graphics app.
For second issue, i have the same problem on my mobile (5.0)... i don't know why it happens... i only can say that Android port of SFML works with OpenGL ES 1.0 and need more work to be a "final" release.

FOr example.. with SFML i can't know when the keyboard is open... i can't select the type of the keyboard (Only numbers, Text + Numbers, etc...)... i go to ask in sfml forum about this issue...
