Topic: Teeworlds Prediciton very high + Delay

Hello,
i got a big problem with teeworlds many years now and can't solve it.
My Problem is that i have a big delay while shoting. I turned my Ghost on and saw that its far away behind me.
I got a good PC. Here my stats:

GTX285
Intel i7 860 2.8GHz
ASUS P7P55D
8 GB RAM
750GB SATA

My internetconnection is: 50.000
i am not using WLAN. I am connected with LAN to my Router.
PunBB bbcode test
Everything on my PC is up to date.

I hope you can help me. As you can see on the pictures my tee is far away from the real on. You can also read the prediciton. Also while only moving left or right is far away.

noooooo. My brother is playing with WLAN and has a prediction of 50ms. His tea is half behind him and he has almost no delay.

Well, that's weird, your PC is good, your Internet s good, your position is in western Europe, your ping is very good... If you're using Win7, could be good to check the network tab of your resources monitor (Ctrl+Shift+Esc > Performance > Resource Monitor > Network.

I don't know why your game is using this much bandwidth. Anyone got a clue? Is it a modified client? (If yes, try with vanilla). Or maybe you screenshotted while you were downloading a map?

Okay apparently the bandwidth is normal. Trying to think to something but I can't see anything.

Edit: Please try disabling V-Sync and see if it changes anything.

turning vsync off doesnt help:
EDIT: when i join game my prediction is:20 then it goes up over 100

bad sad i dont know how to fix it. My brother use my internet too with WLAn and he has not thsese problems.

Which client is it? the normal one?

Try to connect with lan cable, not Wi-Fi, just to see what'll happen

A few days ago I played a game of tw and had the same problem (delay in shooting). Very irritating as a split second delay in pulling the trigger results in the death of my virtual avatar sad
And I (mostly) have a stable net con

Damn lags....
