vegetation is not really dense tongue
Used 0.7 tilesets, so map got quite big

First look leaves good impression. This seems to be really nice map. This may have some movement disadvantages, but structure and pickup placement looks to be just fine. I'll test it soon and provide further feedback afterwards.

Thank you, dodedodo and Variecs, who obviously are so good at Teeworlds they can instantly tell how good a map is without even playing it! I'm sure BeaR appreciates it.

I'm not saying it's good. I'm saying my first impression is good and that i will try it out later to make sure. And yes, I think BeaR appreciates that.

I just played it. And I like it smile Only it seems to me that the bottom part is a bit to fast. You can easily grab the flag and get back really fast.

Other than that I think it's a good map! big_smile

Okay, so here's some feedback.

Structure:
Perfect, nothing to say. Even tho quite common big_smile
Movement:
On the contrary to first impression, now i think movement is just hard enough and quite agile. I would remove one tile of spikes/unhookable on each side of middle to make it easier to hook, but rest is fine.
Pickup Placement:
Only slight disadvantages. I would put rifles further from each other, but i'm not sure if you could do that. Also i would place those hearts near the base shotgun further away from shotgun, maybe in the upper corner. Rest is fine, balanced and nicely hidden.
Graphics:
Add some background. Doodads look great.

I should say that's exactly what we should look for in Map Working Group. I suggest you to propose your map, disadvantages are minor. One of the best maps i've played for a long time.

Nope, they are about the same actually. I spent time playing around on it with fastcap. I used only hook. Was able to get 6.5 top and 7.0 bottom.

I really like the movement of the map. It is really fluid, easy to maneuver. Only problem i saw, was at the bottom corners of the map where the rocket and 2 shields/2 hearts are. It is a bit tricky to go down grab the rocket and jump out of base smoothly. However, it is easy for other team to come into base pick them up and go up to flag though.

Lots of very quick access to health and weapons for the area around the flag.

Some backgrounds can be distracting during games. I think it looks pretty nice the way it is. big_smile
