Very nice and professional mods. I would suggest automatically forcing a player to a default class ( hooman ? ), if they dont choose one after a minute or so. Very very nice mod for CTF

Really nice mod, it wont be my favourite ( yes i played it ), but I can see it is professional work, so thumbs up.
check your filters, plus maybe some servers are too far away for you ( ping > 999 ) to see them
I would suggest doing what Stroganoff said. If that is not an option, you can try setting up a virtual machine with a linux which has the desired glibc version / allows glibc update.
This is a nice example of a thread without flaming and spam, right Hooker ? Just check how many of your posts get downvoted on a daily basis. Why does this happen ? I have an idea for you. Every time you want to post something stupid, meaningless, or something less than 10 characters, post it here instead of the topic you wanted to reply. U could save a lot of hassle, thats the best thing you can 'donate' to this community.
You must use the game because the game does the rendering. A demo file is just a dump of the game state, so teeworlds reads those data and makes the rendering. The most convenient solution would be to add an option to teeworlds to convert a demo file to a widely used video format, but again this could work only for client side demos, and I dont think this will ever happen, since I dont know of any game which has such mechanism. The best u can do is to record ur demo with another video-capture program ( Fraps, etc ).
-In real life, when you kill somebody with a gun ( <--don't try this), their gun doesn't evaporate. It stays there for you to take.
Mmmm, can i ask how do you know that ? I'mean, I dont know i havent killed anybody ..
Regarding for the idea, I dont like it. The weapon respawn time is 20s, so it is not that drastical to lose a race for a weapon; Controlling the items in the game is an important aspect, this modification would turn things upside down, and good players would never run out of ammo, which means theyll never stop the pwnage, which means theyll never run out of ammo, etc. Plus it adds unnecessary complexity.
Just don't do it.
SOrry for posting it in the wrong Category...
I hoped I would see the "O" cause its a screen out of a demo, but it didnt work.
Nothing a lil bit of photoshop cant solve.
Try to enable gfx_noclip
Worked, thanks !
There is a bug in the demo recording function. If you start recording, and then change the map, the demo will still render the map on which you started the recording. This heppened with the server side recording, dont know if it affects the client side stuff too.
Im happy u like this feature. If I find time I will suggest it to the devs.
Nice one ! I was trying to do something similar, but my approach was totally different, plus I failed
another two very similar to my first one: http://data.hu/get/1091257/20090115_17413.demo.html and http://data.hu/get/1091260/20090115_174016.demo.html
Your idea might work aswell, but I imagine i would be quite frustrated when i hit another player with four rockets and he would be still alive. Would anyone use the hammer in this gamemode ? I dont think so. It will also render armor and health useless. In _my_ opinion it would be very boring and pointless - what I mean is that in a DM game I have a goal - to kill the enemy players, in CTF i have a goal - to capture the flag, but in this mode I could if I wanted just stay in a place and shoot around with the pistol, or stop chatting in the middle of a battle, without any real punishment. Beautifull aspects of the game like chatkilling would also be lost
mmm can you compile a windows version of the modified client please? ^^
No, i'm sry i can only compile a linux x86 version
I made this little modification of the source, which adds a new command you can use:
tmprec - it will start recording a demo with the name yyyymmdd_hhmmss.demo ( which is the current date and time ). To stop the recording you just use stoprecord like u would normally. The advantage ( and the reason i made it ) is that you can bind two keys - one to start recording, and one to stop. I think its a good idea, if you think its not - dont use it, thanks for any feedback.
The patch lives here http://data.hu/get/1090508/tmprec.patch.html
I dont like any of your ideas. Why dont you play the game the way it is, instead of trying to make the game the way you are ?
Some people already know about this, but I wanted to be the first to show it - http://data.hu/get/1088464/test.demo.html
Nice moves Ubu
The background stuff is not specific to macos imho, because i have similar 'effects' on my linux box, which I believe is caused by the driver i'm using for my ati card. It's the open-source driver, and in its documentation its clearly stated that its missing some features, 3d accel for example, and whatnot.
Run your server with a separate config file, where you add the rcon password.
./teeworlds_server -f foo.cfg
type foo.cfg
sv_rcon_password 123And next time read the documentation, and search the forums before asking a dumb question, because chances are that other dumb people have already asked that question.
When will 0.6 come out ?
You need the newest version of bam too. The same way u donwloaded trunk for tw, download trunk for bam.
