I know this is really not the right time for it but i got a MOD idea for tee strike and i want to post it before i forget it XD

So... the MOD is kind of survivial gametype and about zombie infection.
Its not a TDM but a DM gametype (illl explain later) though humans have 1 colour and zombies have 1 colour.
In the beginning theres a normal tee strike buy menu where u can buy the stuff u want - ammo pickups in the Map.

Zombies just have hammer and can hook humans just for little time (0.5 seconds).
Zombies have more energie than humans - at least full health and armor.
If a human gets hit by a zombie twice hes infected and looses the weapons (maybe just till next round?) -> becomes a zombie.

1 Player gets randomly the "mother" zombie which has more hp since he has the hardest part when hes fighting alone with hammer.
If a zombie gets hit his speed decreases (the more dmg the slower he gets)

The idea to give zombies more than just 20 health was:
A zombie has 10 hearts and 3 armor. He wont loose armor if he gets hit. if his hearts reach 0 he gets 10 hearts and looses 1 armor.
1armor=10hearts

The reason why this shouldnt be a TDM is that a human that gets infected just changes his colour to zombie and doesnt need to respawn at a random place.

Another idea would be , to make it harder for humans, that the zombie colour fits the map background or that there are shadows almost all over the map and the zombies are dark coloured so u cant c them easily in the shadows.

Btw - humans that are in the buy menu cant be hit wink
Suicide wont respawn as zombie but join spectators.
Dead zombies also join spectator.

i dont like the big dm1 map take the normal kukurice oder dm 5 map
but the rest is ok

Some of the Tee-Strike weapons could become very popular if added to modified DM / TDM / CTF games as pickups. This would be good marketing by interesting people to check the Tee-Strike mod and decent training because people would get used to the handling of the weapons.

To keep things simple there should probably be one weapon of each weapon set (shotguns, grenade launchers, rifles) and the server admin should be able to choose which.

Most things could already be easily done by tuning the default weapon properties, some advanced stuff would probably be required as well, but considering the weapons already exist this shouldn't be too hard.

If the Tee-Strike team is too busy there's probably someone else who can work this out.

i still think there should be one server of TSctf like war 3 on ctf5 and make it easier to understand like war 3 because currently there is nobody in the TS server. sad

Hopefully, this won't be needed after our rework of the entire mod. big_smile Even though it's released, this version is in terms of completion only a beta. For 0.2 we're aiming at giving you a different solution. Many of the weapons will be revisited as well. Oh, and while we're on the topic.

We're requesting input and ideas for what to change with the weapons. It's already planned to scrap some of them and add new ones. If you have a (possible and cool) idea, write it in this topic or talk to us @ #TeeTV.

Maybe you could tweak the BigMomma (don't know if it's written correctly) in somekind of rocket launcher. With a fast (but not too fast) flying rocket that explodes on impact. I think if you make it doing 8 points of damage, it would be very powerful so 6 shot and a long reload time would be good.

That's some good ideas, madi. Perhaps we'll need to tweak those numbers etc a bit due to balance, but the idea is good. smile We'll take that into consideration.



EDIT: We're now working on shaping some new weapons, and currently we're focusing on secondary weapons (pistols and the likes). Please write your ideas for unique secondary weapons. ;D

Hm what about a weapon for close combat as a secondary weapon? Like a pistol shooting very fast with short reload time but only a very small range. It would make more damage than a hammer but therefor you have to aim better.

How about some Kind of Knuckle - close combat needs to be bought.

Shorter Range than hammer - a bit slower - 5 dmg

EDIT: Another Close combat weapon to have 3 of them ^^

Taser: Not too close range (longer than hammer) - dealing 2 dmg - slow fire rate - kicks enemy away when he gets hit

Umm Forgot to say that it should break hooks...
Maybe 3 dmg...
Its for ppl who have a good weapon (lets say big momma with explosion) and want to avoid close combat because they cant use their main weapon...
Or just 4 ppl who arnt good at hammer fighting...

Secondary weapon isn't the same as melee weapon. We'll divide the weapons into:

* Primary weapons (nades, shottys etc)
*Secondary weapons (Pistols and small ranged stuff. Supporting weaps.)
*Melee weapons (Hammers and everything like that.)

Our ideas for melee weapons are currently kinda awesome (I'll keep you posted ones we've worked out a more detailed idea. Still, I can tell you that one of them involves a bubble. wink) so we want you guys to focus on the secondary weapons. smile They are the hardest.

if you make different weapons out of the same graphix. then people without the client will be left out

[IDEA] use the sword on the katana as a melee weapon.

Hmmm... Secondary...

Pistole that fires 3 shots at once that spread a bit appart (1 bullet)
Low fire rate - each 1 of the 3 bullets = 1 dmg - not to much ammo in 1 clip (5-7)

High dmg in close(er) combat.
Good chances to hit some 1 far away (since they spread a bit)

Maybe you can add some kind of tranquilliser gun with some darts, that can stan a tee for few seconds. It would be very useful for the defending team to catch up to the flagcarrier and maybe making him fall into spikes wink

I think something like this was already suggested in the thread, but I don't know where.

I think the darts are a good idea though stunning is to powerfull.
I´d say it makes the speed of the enemy go 0 immeadiatly
2 dmg fast - flying - medium/low fire rate

I also had a stupid idea about buying hooks XD
3 different hooks - normal hook - shorter but stronger (pushing faster) hook - longer but weaker hook

Hmm, I think you are right magic merlin. Just stopping the enemy will be enough.  But I think reload should be long because otherwise you can stun an enemy by keep shooting him tongue
