The only things that you don't understand, is that i can't create new objects with a new image without modify the client, and i repeat this game is called Teeworlds smile.
I have a better idea, just accelerate the respawn time of weapons.

You can create weaponlockers at every map just by placing all weapons near together. That needs no change in source and works fine. smile So I think there won't be less weapons in the mod, because this belongs to the map.

Another idea would be just putting some tiles on the map and in front of the tiles the weapons. Yeaaaaaaaaaah your weaponlocker is finished.

I know a better idea for weapons locker.
At least i hope its better XD

How about this:
Each time u run through ur generator or ur node u get, lets say, 3 weapons at ur generator (with laser) and 2 at a node (no rifle) thats under your controle.
U can use a node just once in life XD ( means if u die u can use again). Though u can use different nodes and generator in 1 life.
And if u use lockers this way no enemys could use ur locker and i think that would be good.
This might just work... or not.

I also found some other thing that may turn out as a problem...
If people can infinite heal nodes it would be kind of imba.
In UT3 u simply run out of link gun ammo or some vehikle kills u thats much stronger and cant be killed too quick.

idea:
Make some "invisible" ammo for hammer just triggering if u heal.
This healing ammo reloads very slow and u just have little amount of it.
How fast it reloads and how many u got depends a bit on how much u heal with 1 hit...

There is not weapon lockers.
You spawn at spawn points not at the nearest node.
There is one ball, like ninja powerup :
when you take it, you can transform an ennemi node into your node.

Maybe it would be good if there was just 1 server...
And if its full all the time 2 servers...

Just look at WAR3 servers... there are 2 GV serers - 1 always half full to full and everybodys happy...

okay great idea, was my fav mod when i played UT3 smile. And ye, weaponlocker is cool, nodes have too many hp to kill them without lockers. Also turrets will be cool thing, huh?

I think not spawning at the nearest node will slow the gameplay a lot and if u want to attack the generator and u get killed u have to run (if there 2 nodes in the middle) over ur first node -> of the node near enemy base where ppl are fighting -> to the generator

I thought of some kind of solution hmm

A teleporter at each generator and each node -> The teleporter brings u to ur best node - if that node has 30 or less hp u will get ported to the second best node -> who ever controlls a node can use its teleport - it works just 1 way so u can go to the node but not back to the generator

I dont know how much coding is requiered for something like this but i think it would speed up the gameplay a lot.

Remember that teeworlds maps are not too large for an optimized gameplay, but anyway you can move very fast on them. I have reflect a lot of time on  this point, and i conclude that make the match too long spawn on the nearest node. Indeed i don't want a noob mod, if you want to win a match you must be fast.

But with teleporters battles in a large Map would be concentrated on 2-3 nodes.
