Topic: How to host Mac server on 5.0

Hi all

sins the new 5.0 came out I dont know how I can make a teeworlds server on my Mac.. sad

kan someone help me ? guide ore something ?

Create a server config file and select it using the open file dialogue that pops up when you run Teeworlds Server

wen I try to open Teeworlds Server it just closes.. xD

so I go in to it and opend: Contents/MacOS/teeworlds_server

and then I get:

Games/teeworlds/Teeworlds 5.0/Teeworlds Server.app/Contents/MacOS/teeworlds_server
  Reason: image not found
Trace/BPT trap
logout

and wen I try to open: Contents/MacOS/teeworlds_srv

I get this:

Library/Application Support/Teeworlds
[496cfb73][console]: failed to open 'autoexec.cfg'
[496cfb73][datafile]: datafile loading. filename='maps/dm1.map'
[496cfb73][server]: failed to load map. mapname='dm1'
logout

do you know how I can fix that ??

I have tested the launcher on both 10.5 and 10.4 combined with x86 and ppc, so it should really work smile

If you really want to launch from console you should move teeworlds_srv and the data folder (located in Resources) to the same directory and launch teeworlds_srv from there.

EDIT: OK so I found the bug... This will be resolved in a patch. Use the copy method I described untill then.
