Re: [TUTORIAL] jeppos Editor Tutorials

The game crashes when:

I save a map with more than one layergroup.
I save a map with more than 5 layers.
I save a map with a quadlayer.

Also, the Teamspawns don't work. The tee's spawn on any spawnpoint.

PS. When the game crashes during the save everything on the map is deleted. So now I've created a backupfolder.
Is it possible to fix this for 0.4.3?

Re: [TUTORIAL] jeppos Editor Tutorials

Very nice tutorials smile, there is 1 thing I don't understand though, and it should be the most easy thing to do. I can't scroll thrue my map. So when i change the view to 1:1 it doesn't fit in my screen, but i don't know how to scroll from the left side of the map to the right size (or up or down). So i can only zoom out and work with very tiny icons and that can't be the solution smile. Could someone tell me how to scroll thrue my map?

Re: [TUTORIAL] jeppos Editor Tutorials

alt+left mouse button to drag the view

Re: [TUTORIAL] jeppos Editor Tutorials

The Background-thing doesn't work.
I cant save the map after I deleted all unneeded layers.
I used the same map and deleted exactly the same layers as you did in your Toturial.
So how can I get a background now?

Re: [TUTORIAL] jeppos Editor Tutorials

Can someone extract all the different backgrounds and make them available for easy download?? Would be very helpful, so that new mappers don't need to do it themselves...

Cheers,

I'm experiencing exactly the same problem, as soon as I press save (from within the Save As menu) Teeworlds crashes.

I'm running Vista... Save the anti MS jokes plz.

I found a temporary solution by making a new blue tileset and use it as a sky. But backgrounds would be appreciated.

Hey, quite good Idea! big_smile
Gonna try that.
It's at least better than that weird color you get without Background.
