Yep, it's strange isn't it? I wonder if the heartbeats to master.teewars.com is using another port? However I started a server at my company's 2003 server. That's even better anyway. (It's powered all the time and it isn't downloading torrents from time to time... )

Just starting teewars_srv.exe. Nothing extra.
My network is a little extra thou (using my neighbours DSL line):

1: DSL Modem(Dyn 217.211.3.8)
2: WLAN DHCP(Stat 192.168.1.1)
3: WLAN AP repeater(Stat 192.168.1.245)
4: TP-cable Server NIC(Dyn 192.168.1.120)

Everything else, except this, works great and port forwarding is working aswell.
I've ordered my own connection now and will have it installed in a couple of weeks. This error just bugs me so I wanted to know what coud be wrong. It's not really that important....

hmm... That's strange... So people can join your game, but the masterserver can't connect to you, is that right? Can you post you your default.cfg in it's whole? How do you start the server? Do you give it any extra bootflags?

Yepp. Those are ok, or else I woudn't be able to connect to the server manually using my public IP (only internal LAN IP). Trust me, I also tred it just to confirm.

This is exactly the message you get when there is something wrong with the firewall or router config. I think you should take another look at them and make sure they are ok... Have you made the correct configs in both windows firewall and the router port forwarding?

You need to activate port forwarding in your router to forward UDP port 8303 to your computer. (Port forwarding are sometimes called NAT)

Thanks for the fast reply, but it does'nt solve the problem. Same error message.
The server is (even with the sv_bindaddr=127.0.0.1 option) active thou and I can connect to it if i type in the IP from another computer. (I wont see the error message when setting the sv_heartbeats option to zero, but then the public cant see the server, wich is my prob)

You shouldn't set binaddr to 127.0.0.1. that means that only players that connect to the ip 127.0.0.1 will be able to connect, and the only one who can is you. just skip the sv_bindaddr option.

I have a problem getting my server into the public server list @ master.teeewars.com when using sv_sendheartbeats=1. I've forwarded port 8303 (UDP) from my router to the server (and also opened 8303 in windows firewall.cpl), still I keep getting this error message:

This is (a part of) my config file:

To set up a server to play on LAN only, the most important variable is 'sv_sendheartbeats=0'. That will make the server not sending any notification to the masterserver. Then your friends manually type in your IP-address and click join.
