Thanks for letting me know, I am not sure how much I will implement some of it does seem nice though. I would like my servers to stay consistent in some ways for returning players. I will go through all options tomorrow, again thank you.

Hey there,

Please use this config as templates to add votes to your servers:
https://github.com/PathosEthosLogos/tw/ … anilla.cfg
You can also have one server to be both DM and CTF by using "add_vote "DM" "clear_votes; exec dm.cfg""

If you go to any of the DDNet vanilla servers, you can see their servers have nice vote configs.

That is reassuring to hear, my experience so far is very positive. I figured that something was wrong with nitrado charging so much for their teeworlds server. Using a VPS is the right call for this.

@maikbey you will never run in trouble on such a machine. As I experienced you can run 50 server without a Problem on a 5€/month vps (or maybe 100, I couldn't test that).

Your idea is really good, I haven't thought of that. I can just run the server with different configs and thats what I have done now. I added a CTF server as you requested, with rotation and 7 Minutes per round.

Additionally a DM server which has rounds of 2 Minutes and 2 rounds per map for a more fast paced game. (Or you can end it by scoring 18 kills within that timeframe)

Sweet, there are definitely too few servers that host custom maps with vanilla gameplay .

I would recommend to host two separate servers, one for TDM and one for CTF on different ports. (configure by having sv_port xxxx in your config file) It shouldn't make much of a difference to the connection.

Hello,

A new Server has opened up, which offers all default maps and some custom maps (around 25%) in a rotation of 7 Minutes per map.

It runs on a dedicated machine, which is paid for several months.

I hope you will enjoy this Server, just search for "tdm rot" (make sure to uncheck standard map in case a custom map is running) or use this ip:
