If I understood it right it's just about the server locations. You should be able to connect to the German server without any issue.

First tournament:

• Brand-new Solo map "Chill Let's Climb 2" by Chill [TD]

• First to finish wins! Restarting doesn't reset your time

• First and second place win 20 € each or a DDNet T-Shirt

Second tournament:

• Sunday, July 20 at 20:00 CEST

• Brand-new Novice map "Planet Venus" by Aoe & Knight :3

• Teams with 2 players or more can start!

• First team to finish wins! Restarting doesn't reset your time

• First and second team win 40 € each or a DDNet T-Shirt for each player

For each country 64 player servers will be run:
