Topic: 0.3.3 released

Yet another sneaky maintenance release is out the door. The server browser has received some additional filtering capabilities, and there is now an option to mute Teewars audio when it's not active. Additionally, there have been some lag-reduction tweaks, albeit minor ones as to not break the 0.3 protocol. Go clicky linky thingy!

The os x release has link error, right now it is linking to 0.3.2, only to replace the 2 by a 3 to fix big_smile

Something is very wrong. Had downloaded 0.3.3 and was playing on a 0.3.3 server too which I had a ping of 40-something, and I was lagging. The lag came in like really really small burts about maybe 3 seconds in between all the time. So I was able too move around and shoot quite well, but it screwed up pretty much every dodge I tried.

Earlier on another server it worked well at first, but then response times suddenly got so slow that I had serious trouble hooking, and stayed that way.

Not liking 0.3.3...

(I play on windows xp home edition)

I also think that the serverbrowser filter should make modded servers invisible by default.

Redownloaded teewars and got rid of the problems. Though it may only be temporarily, for the second server I joined after redownloading I had pretty bad response times again. This time ping was 80, but it wasn´t as bad as the last time. Still, felt like 150 at least.

The malfunctions seem very random.

I also think that the serverbrowser filter should make modded servers invisible by default.

I regret to report that I couldn't find any servers on the server nor was able to my own server via IP.

That might be due to you firewall. I know I have to reconfig every time there comes a new version.

Admin for all LAN-corps servers

Didn't work after the reconfiguration either (tried it).

I might try to get it to work again tomorrow when I'm not this tired.
